Afidamp is the only representative body which brings together the various strands of the professional cleaning supply chain in Italy.

It gathers together manufacturers, importers and distributors of products, machinery, paper and equipment, as well as other industry organizations.

It works to protect and promote a flagship sector of Made in Italy worldwide. Indeed Italy has long been a world leader in the manufacture of professional cleaning products, machinery and equipment, second only to Germany and United States.

Afidamp was founded in Milan in 1981. Its founders were a group of entrepreneurs united in a desire to create a body which could give cohesion and strength to the sector.
Afidamp's mission from the outset was to give voice to the representatives of a market with enormous opportunities but which was largely unknown and as a result poorly structured and disaggregated.
35 years have passed and Afidamp has become an institutionally recognized body and an increasingly important point of reference for the industry and for the diffusion of the culture of cleanliness in Italy.
