The Heart
of AFIDAMP: Working Groups

Driving Innovation and Growth in Professional Cleaning

The core of AFIDAMP’s activity lies in its Working Groups, composed of representatives from member companies. These are divided into three categories: Technical Working Groups, Cross-Sector Working Groups, and Focus Teams.

The Technical Working Groups (Machinery, Paper, Chemicals, and Tools–Fibers–Cloths) are dedicated to the product categories represented by the association. They analyze sector regulations, address key challenges, and develop guidelines, protocols, and new development projects. Among their most notable achievements is the Professional Cleaning Handbook (Vademecum della Pulizia Professionale), a reference work in both Italy and Europe that compiles all technical knowledge and the most advanced cleaning methodologies.

The Cross-Sector Working Groups focus on issues that impact the entire professional cleaning sector, with specific emphasis on Marketing and International Affairs. They promote hygiene, cleaning culture, professional training, sector development, and international representation. They also support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Finally, the Focus Teams are short-term, project-oriented groups designed to address specific topics with concrete and immediate impact.
